Dom Pérignon 2000 is a vintage Champagne made from grapes harvested during a challenging yet ultimately rewarding growing season. The year began with a wet and cool spring, followed by a warm summer with occasional storms. Despite the unpredictable weather, a dry and sunny final ripening period allowed for a successful harvest of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards.

Released in 2008, Dom Pérignon 2000 was initially praised for its generous, rounded character and early approachability, featuring notes of ripe stone fruits, citrus, toasted brioche, and a hint of spice. The wine offered a creamy texture and a balanced acidity, making it elegant yet expressive from the start.

Over time, Dom Pérignon 2000 has developed increased depth and complexity. The fruit has evolved into dried apricot and fig, while richer tones of toffee, nuts, and smoky minerality have emerged. The mousse remains fine, and the wine now shows a more mature, opulent character, reflecting the evolution of a vintage that has aged with great dignity and finesse.
