La Grande Année 2007 is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir from A and Verzenay and 30% Chardonnay from Cramant and Oger, with 91% Grands Crus and 9% Premiers Crus grapes.

One of the distinctive practices of the Bollinger house is to completely and twice as long as required by the appellation, ferment wine in barrels. The aging then happens in little antique oak barrels. This is how a cuvée with such intricacy and lovely delicacy is made. It has purity and refinement because to the 7 grams of sugar per liter dosage.
