Vazart Coquart Special Club Rosé 2018
Vazart Coquart Special Club Rosé 2018
This is one of the rarest Special Club producers, making only about 1300 special club bottles per year. And their Rosé is the rarest cuvée, made from 100% pinot noir from a single plot called "Le Revers de Plumecoq". There is only made 292 bottles. And we have access to a small allocation of those. Vazart Coquart is known for their amazing work with the grapes of their grand cru parcelles. Their champagnes are low in dosage (extra brut) but are made with malolactic fermentation which gives it light buttery notes. Other notes to be found in their champagnes are: white flowers, peach, mature pear. A mineral and fresh champagne. It should also be noted that this champagne is made by the saignée method, so you can find notes of cherries, strawberries and tannins like a light red wine.
